Services
Services include
the following:
* Provide overall
customer assistance for reception, staging and onward movements of
supplies, equipment and personal arriving and departing the Area
of Operations (AO) by military highway, commercial bus, truck,
rail or air transport
* Receive and
review requests for movement, determine appropriate mode of
transport, load information in Global Command & Control System
- Army (GCCS-A) and forward to the Movement Control Battalion (MCB)
for visibility, and assistance as required
* Monitor and
manage reporting Port of Embarkation / Departure (POE/D) clearance
programs
* Coordinate
highway movements with Host Nations authorities
* Coordinate rail
movements, requirements for rail movements, and the spotting of
train & rolling stock with Host Nations rail authorities,
receive cargo and equipment for shipment, develop rail load-plans,
confirm train configuration, assist units in preparing and
marshaling of cargo and equipment for loading, supervise
loading/downloading and inspect tie-down before departure
* Review,
validate, and update Transportation Coordinated - Automated
Command & Control Information System (TC-ACCIS) and TC-AIMS II
to project Time Phased Force Deployment List Data (TPFDLD)
* Execute,
monitor, and report movements; maintain movement status; and
provide in transit visibility by updating departure and arrival
times into GCCS-A and Department of the Army Movement Management
System (DAMMS-R) within one hour of actual arrival/departure
* Track and
maintain accountability for containers located within the AO
