The Tuzla Day Trip is a professional development session designed to educate soldiers about Tuzla, what happened there during the war and about Bosnian culture in general.
This is a relaxed walking tour with local tour guides that take you to the Kapija bombing site and memorial cemetery, the Orthodox Church, the
BOSFAM (where women from Srebrenica weave traditional Bosnian rugs) and
more.
UNIFORM:
BDU and soft cap.
WEAPONS: Check
the current Force Protection level with your unit.
MONEY: Bring
Bosnian money for lunch and shopping. Merchants do not take US dollars.
FOOD: Soldiers
will eat lunch at a restaurant in downtown Tuzla.
