 LETTERS AND PACKAGES
You can receive letters and
packages while here at Tuzla AB. Your family should bear in mind that any
package they send may be in transit for two weeks or more, though they
usually arrive more quickly. If your family is in Europe, they can send
you packages for free (see your local APO for details on limitations). You
can send letters from Tuzla to the U.S. for free. Your mailing address
will be provided to you upon arrival at Eagle Base.

PHONES
AND E-MAIL
The phones at Tuzla AB are part of the
European DSN. To call here from a U.S. DSN line, dial 314, followed by the
7-digit DSN number (for most AF functions, 762-XXXX. To dial commercially
from the CONUS, dial 0-11-387-75-814-294 + the 7-digit number. From
Europe, the number would be 387-75-814-241, then ask the base operator to
connect you to your party.
Most of the functions here have at least one computer with internet
connectivity. Local network administration policies allow for access to
web-based e-mail accounts, such as AOL, Hotmail, or Yahoo. Of course, transmission of
classified or obscene material is strictly prohibited.
